De Popelier is a Meat&Wine Restaurant in Gooik, the pearl of the Pajottenland region. In the shadow of the Saffelberg castle and in an idyllic location, you can enjoy a large selection of both aged and non-aged meat. For this selection, there is a very close collaboration with Hendrik Dierendonck. In summer it is blissful to relax on the heated terrace amidst the Pajotse hills, but also in winter it is very cosy inside thanks to the warm interior makeover with some eye-catchers such as the “WineWall”. The wine list, now featuring over 600 selections, has been carefully curated to ensure that every wine enthusiast can find something to their liking.
